While looking for images to carve for a new series I'm planning, I
came across this site! Has anyone heard of this? (I cut and pasted
the link - it's awfully long - hope it works!)

I didn't know the hobby was supposed to be secretive. Must have
missed that part of the indoctrination.
There is nothing to look at. They mentioned nothing really about the
so called "International Letterboxing Week" and instead just give
links to the stamps they sell. A quick Google search on
"International Letterboxing Week" just brings up that page, so it is
just a sales gimmick, and not a very good one at that.

Once Hallmark gets hold of the idea, the cards will fly off the shelf and
Congress will declare it a national holiday. Look at all the other holidays
that were made up initially just as sales gimmicks. Soon the CEO of
Hallmark will be announcing letterboxes to be found in all Hallmark stores,
with bonus boxes in the Hallmark Gold stores.
